PRESENCE AT WATS 2024

From April 29 to May 2, 2024, the city of Orlando, Florida, became the global meeting point for aviation training with another edition of the World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) – one of the largest and most prestigious events in the aviation sector worldwide.

This event brought together hundreds of professionals, experts, and representatives from companies and organizations across the globe, creating a privileged environment for sharing knowledge, trends, and innovation in the field of aviation training.

LAS Training in the international spotlight

LAS Training had the honor of participating as a speaker, represented by Dr. Mónica Teixeira (LAS Training) and Eng. Delfim Dores (LAS Maintenance). Together, they delivered a presentation on the topic:

"Human Factors and Emotional Intelligence"

The session emphasized the importance of integrating behavioral and emotional skills into the highly technical context of aviation, highlighting their direct impact on safety, team performance, and decision-making under pressure.

The presentation sparked great interest and reflection among participants, confirming that human factors remain one of the most critical pillars of modern aviation training.
