LEVEL I
These courses are designed to provide Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with fundamental knowledge of a specific aircraft type.
Although Level I training may be attended by any Aircraft Maintenance Technician or Mechanic, regardless of licence category or subcategory, it is primarily intended for holders of an EASA Part-66 Category C Aircraft Maintenance Licence who have previously completed a Level III Type Training Course, as well as for engineers working within EASA Part-145, Part-M, Part-CAMO or Part-CAO organisations.

These courses are designed to provide Aircraft Maintenance Technicians/Mechanics with detailed knowledge of component operation and location, component removal and installation procedures, as well as fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in accordance with the applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM).
This level of training is intended for candidates applying for an EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, or for holders of an EASA Part-66 Category B1, B2 or C Licence.

Duration of Level III Courses – Categories B1.1/B2/C

These courses are designed to provide Aircraft Maintenance Technicians/Mechanics with detailed knowledge of component operation and location, component removal and installation procedures, as well as fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in accordance with the applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM). They are intended for technicians and mechanics who already possess relevant prior knowledge and experience appropriate to the scope of the training.
DIFFERENCES
Level III Course – Category B2/C
The structure of each Difference Course varies according to the specific aircraft type and/or engine covered.
