REQUIREMENTS
Instructors

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Holder of a Certificate of Pedagogical Competence (CCP), formerly the CAP (Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude), or an equivalent qualification where applicable (e.g. for non-Portuguese instructors).

Completion of LAS Training's internal training covering the organisation's procedures and the requirements of EASA Part-66 and Part-147.

Human Factors training completed within the two years prior to approval.
Specific Requirements
Basic Qualifications
-
Hold a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Education, Aircraft Maintenance, or an equivalent scientific or technical discipline;
or -
Hold an EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, Category B2 or C, or an ICAO equivalent to EASA Category B2;
or -
Hold relevant qualifications in the subject area to be taught.
Professional Experience
-
Have at least two years' professional experience in subjects relevant to those being delivered, gained through aircraft maintenance or instructional duties within approved maintenance organisations or aviation training organisations;
or -
Demonstrate previous experience as an instructor delivering EASA Part-66 Basic Training;
or -
Have at least three years' teaching experience.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Completion of LAS Training's internal training covering the organisation's procedures and the requirements of EASA Part-66 and Part-147.

Human Factors training completed within the two years prior to approval.

Hold an EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, Category B1, B2 or C, or an ICAO equivalent (the licence may be current or expired);
or -
Demonstrate proven experience performing equivalent duties within another EASA Part-147 Approved Maintenance Training Organisation.
Basic Qualifications

Have at least three years' professional experience relevant to the subjects being delivered through aircraft maintenance or instructional duties within approved maintenance organisations or aviation training organisations.
