TYPE RATING COURSE COMPLETION

At the end of January, we successfully concluded another important stage of technical training, this time aimed at the Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) of LAS Maintenance.

The course in question — Type Rating for the A320 family (A318/319/320/321) with CFM56 engine — began on November 20 and was conducted over several weeks, following the highest technical and pedagogical standards.

This type of training, also known as type training, is essential to ensure that maintenance professionals are properly qualified to safely and efficiently operate and perform interventions on specific aircraft models.

The certification obtained through this course enables technicians to add the relevant endorsement to their license, allowing them to carry out maintenance on A320 family aircraft equipped with CFM56 engines — one of the most widely used models in the commercial aviation sector.

The importance of continuous training
